A friendly farmyard chicken from my Farm Animals series. This quilt pattern is made on a printed grid foundation, so every square lines up without matching points, perfect for beginners and a quick project for experienced quilters.
Finished size depends on the grid you choose (before borders):
Not included: fabric.
Collect the whole barnyard: Cow, Horse and Pig.
Place your cut squares on the fusible grid foundation and press them in place. Fold and sew along the printed lines, clip the intersections, and press the seams so they nest. Then sew the second set of seams and give it a final press. No measuring each seam, no pins and no fussy matching.
Tips: a washable glue stick helps tack squares before pressing, and a pressing sheet keeps the adhesive off your iron and ironing board.

This is my own design. I use EasyPiecing Grid in a lot of my patterns because it makes every square line up so nicely.
